Oman! A country I never thought would become my favorite in the middle east. A country I never imagined had so much to offer. A country that is so underrated but over-delivers and how!
Oman is so abundantly blessed with natural beauty. Spectacular mountain ranges, vast desert lands, and pristine turquoise coastlines, all come together to make Oman the best choice for any traveler looking for nature, culture, and adventure in the middle east.
Unlike its neighbors, there are no high rises, and the tallest building is only 12 floors high. The Omani low rise cities and towns retain their traditional charm and welcome you with their warm Bedouin values.
After my trip, I’m convinced the only way to explore Oman is to hire a 4 x 4, which I rented from Budget car rental and self-drove all around the country. Oman has great infrastructure and the road networks are super smooth to navigate through, though a little bit of driving experience in the mountains will definitely help.
Here are a bunch of photos from my 12 days road trip around Oman to convince you to push it up on your bucket list.
